I believe everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn how to let go. Things go wrong, so that you appeciate them when they're right. You believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.
I don't know why we all hang on to something we know we're better off letting go. It's like we're scared to lose what we really don't even have. Some of us say we'd rather have something than nothing at all, but the truth is... to have something halway is harder than not having it at all.
