Waiting list
Not everybody can join
You can be put on a waiting list at SOHO HOUSE. This may be due to a large number of members or because you do not fully meet the criteria. Our staff will let you through your guestbook. When you will be placed on a waiting list it may take some time until you are admitted as a member of SOHO HOUSE. In the meantime, make sure that you have not yet reached the maximum number of groups that you can join.

Our staff can give you an indication when you will be allowed to the group.

Members have the opportunity to nominate friends and acquaintances. These persons have priority on waiting lists. Members can tell the staff of there nominations.

Every House
Every House membership gives you access to SOHO HOUSE facilities and private areas. This form of membership is very exclusive and members can be recognized as admin of the SOHO HOUSE group. The Rooftop Pool
The Roof has fantastic views over the West Village and the Hudson River. Members and guests can lie on loungers or sit at tables for drinks and breakfast, lunch and dinner daily during the summer months.

Tables for dining are available on a first come first served basis and bookings can only be made for groups of 8 - 11 people on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

The swimming pool is 15ft x 32ft and is open year round. Child members are welcome to use the pool during the following hours:

Children’s opening hours:
Monday to Wednesday: 9am – 5pm
Thursday and Friday: 9am - 2pm
Saturday and Sunday: 8am - 11am

Roof Hours:
Monday & Tuesday: 9am - 1am
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 9am - 2am
Saturday: 8am - 2am
Sunday: 8am – 12am

We have a number of areas available for private hire. Within SOHO HOUSE New York we have the Roof Top Bar and the Roof Top Pool. This possibility is especially and only for our members handed.

Private Hire: Roof Top Bar
For a unique and luxurious comfort with a delicious buffet and a cocktail of your choice. This space can accommodate 12 people exlusive staff.

The Roof Top Pool is seen as desirable and trendy location.

*Note: Only available for Every House members'. Exceptions can be made.

This location offers a magnificent view of the bustling New York. The trendy Roof Top Bar will leave a lasting impression on your guests.

Private Hire: Roof Top Pool
Dozens of meters high above New York there is the Roof Top Pool. With a brilliant view over New York in the open air. With a large swimming pool, this prime location is perfect for all occasions. Includes a luxury dinner of your choice. Served by only the best chefs.

Memberships types
Application
We offer two types of memberships:
Local House and Every House. When there is no waiting list you can sign up on the group page or at the reception of the Soho House building. Not everyone can just join, we use a number of criteria.

Local House
Local House membership gives you access to SOHO HOUSE facilities only. The number of members is a member limit established. Membership is completely free and without obligation.
